Photoshop or pop out the lenses before taking the shot.

Don't you think the lower eye looks bad?

I had a good look.

It's a lovely shot, with a great looking kid, with glasses.

Works for me Jonny.

Maybe there is a way to counteract this, but, IMHO, this shot is great.

just a lazy mans edit... with a reduction in image size by 15% then clone the reduced images eyes into the original... i agree that the original works but this is an option if your doing a close portrait and not hundreds of images... hope you dont mind

I think the original looks fine. Popping the lenses out is a good idea, just make sure you don't mess the glasses up in the process.

The original looks fine to me, too. I see nothing at all wrong with it. It is a wonderful image of a young girl who happens to wear glasses.

That's a good tip, I'll remember that, thanks.

I would think if you tilt up her glasses a hair off the ears while shooting the lens wont be do direct into the camera. That is the technique I use when shooting people in the studio with glasses to keep the glare from the softboxes from showing in the pic. I have never thought of using it for mag. But I have never had that problem. Maybe the tilt prevented it? Anyhow, just changing the angle of the lens ever so slightly might do the trick.

You could try moving the glasses further up her nose - that way the magnification would be a bit less. Also, tilt the head so you don't see the distortion on the side of her face.

The original looks great to me though.
