Just got this lens used of this forum for a very nice price, I got it for my holidays so I don't need to take my 2.8Lis.I was going to sell it when I get from holiday but I think I will keep it as it is so light and handy when the light is good. Here is some of the shots with the lens and 40d.

Nice shots. I also shoot the 40D/70-200 F4 IS combo, and it's a winner.

riddle me this then. I had the 70-200 2.8 non IS, and with my 40d it was scary sharp and only real sharp with my 1dsmk2. I traded for the 70-200 f4 IS and it is scary sharp with the 1dsmk2 and not as sharp with the 40d... I don't know why. anyone know?..for the op great shots and I am glad you like your lens

Canon "Snappy".... Thanks Mom and Dad!
