A couple of shots I took of the sunrise yesterday. For once I am glad that the dog woke me up to go out.

Have a look here willy b wrote in post #7239659 Love that 2nd shot. Any filters on this one? No, I seem to have lost my filter holder so, instead of using ND grads I took several exposures and blended them. chefdujour wrote in post #7241870 Great Job Your dog did an amazing job waking you up to see this spectacular view Haha! Yeah she did, and was duly rewarded. kawwauser wrote in post #7242262 give your dog a bone these are great She indeed has a new bone, hehe! It has more sense of space, that expansion of the sunrise and the cooler lighting from the right carries that sense of fresh air (a picture that evokes your other senses is the best, right?). But it does have a little too much grass. I would crop the grass and leave it as a wider picture. They're both great and the colors are fantastic. 40D | 28-135 f/3.5-5.6 | 70-200 f/4 L non-IS | 430 EX II | Tokina 12-24mm f/4 | 50 mm f/1.4

I hadn't actually thought of cropping it to a different ratio. Might give that a try later. Thanks.
