I have had problems with my grip, the on/off switch does not work half of the time rendering my grip useless. I am going to send it to Canon and was wondering should I just send all my gear in?

I only have 3 weeks left on my warranty for the camera/grip but my lenses have about 6 months give or take.

Any harm in just packing it all up to be checked, or do they frown on such things?

hmmm...maybe you misunderstood my Q'...I meant all my lenses along with my body and grip, just to get them checked out..I have heard of people doing this before their warranty expires, I have a little more left on my lenses but being how I am sending the body in I was wondering if I should send the lenses as well?

well why not elaborate after the first guy clearly didnt understand the question seems as though you said the same thing as him?

The reason I ask is i have read several threads were people have, and I was wondering if there was any merit to this.
