Do these G series cameras use the same lens as the DSLR EOS ones?

Try this. Take a band saw and cut the lens off the G6. Take an old EOS film camera out of the trash out behind the camera shop, cut the lens mount out and carefully glue it on the G6.

Well......... maybe not.

Different breed of cat. We love newbie questions but........do a little reasearch first. Like look at pictures of both cameras.
