Heres a photo I took a few months back. The window is totally blown and the lamp seems out of place. I really like this photo but my PS skills aren't up to par yet. I really like the pic and I'd hate to add it to the scrap heap. Feel free to give it quick once-over or let me know what I could do to remedy these things.

Thank You.

I did a quick edit. Mostly bumped the contrast. Too bad about the lamp coming out of his/her head. Cute dog! Would of loved to see a close up.

Thanks, that looks very good. I guess there's nothing I can do to restore the window completely aside from cutting it out and replacing it with something. I've tried that too and I cant seem to get it to look right.

In some instances, yes. This is one where I wish I could have got it right the first time.

I don't think there's any right or wrong when it comes to pictures, don't be so hard on yourself ;) Isn't the fun in actually taking the pictures? Anymore pictures of the dog you'd like to share?

My dog is about the only thing I have to shoot until the weather breaks here. I have a bunch in my flickr page, mostly on p.5. I have one from this winter in the first page (in her new coat )

i like the shot..blown out white window and all. The composition makes up for it. I am looking at the dog and wondering what rabbit he is daydreaming of chasing. I know your dog knows that rabbit is right outside that window taunting him!

awwww.."I wanna go outside"

a nice image.

I did a very very quick edit...as a matter of fact..I took off the poor puppy's ear without realizing it at first.
I also think my edit is to dark..but I had fun with it.

I also dont mind the brightness of the window.

but it wouldnt take much to clone out the lamp and darken the window.

IMO the image works better without the lamp, however the window is best left overexposed. Its a nice shot, tells a story, i like it.
Also to make the edit believable there needs to be a corner on the wall ;)
