Well, a test on my phone line shows it'll get 6-6.5 meg speeds which is good.

I'm still undecided! I've got until the end of March to sort it. I could stay with Orange I guess but I've been having some recent problems with their router which I've had for a couple of years now so I fancy a change.

I take it you either can't get cable, or don't want the hassle of changing over to that system Mike?

No sense and unfortunately not enough money.

Gah!!

My colleague was due to go out to Geneva today, but was refused entry onto the plane because there's been changes to the Visa requirements (he's got an Indian passport and is in the UK on a work permit).

That means that I have to fly out in the morning. Superb! :(

Having looked at a few sites, I'm outside of most providers' network areas so I'm left with fewer choices. And I can't be too bothered with cable installation. I only have 1 choice with 02 and Sky broadband - their "outside the area" option. BT seems unaffected by this.

No. The gmail guy is South African...

It's a good thing the Boks aren't in the six (seven) nations, they'd beat us as well.

Ages standing around, hours of shooting, countless gorgeous models, great outfits, and 16GB worth of shots later... I'm back from the fashion show!

Images to follow, I'm shattered!

16Gb! Wow, you're mad.
I shot 8Gb at an 11 hour wedding shoot last week, and that was too much.

Guess you won't be online for the rest of year, whilst you edit couple thousand pics.

Speaking of ISPs, I'm connected with BE* in UK - £16/18 a month.. cant remember, not much anyway. Has mostly been good, prompt service, price slowly dropping down, speed is good 1Mb upload, and 6Mbps download (24mbps plan, but mmmm)
