I know we have hit a rough patch, but sabotaging a plane to get an increase in sales is taking it a bit too far don't you think?

Ooh happy birthday from me too!

Anyone use LR Mogrify? I'm going through fashion show images and want to upload samplers online, but for some odd reason my exported images via Mogrify are coming out as just a blank black box. It worked fine before, I've no idea what I've done...

I've decided i needs a 580ex speedlight as my sigma one is not cutting it anymore for the amount of weddings in going to be doing so i was thinking i might put an ad up to swap one for my 100mm 2.8 macro as its hardly ever used(used about 5 times in 18 months!)
Do u guys think that is a fair trade or should i be offering/asking cash on top?

Dan

If you decide to sell it I may interested as it is one of many on my wish list.

Evening all!

Finally got time to breathe! What a week so far!

@ Ian
Congrats on the photo. Uncanny since I just managed to catch up on Lost. Episode=plane crash!

@ Dan
Do you NEED a 580EX? I have a 430EX which I have kept but rarely use. That be of any use?

I have just finished going through all my work and photos. Been busy with bookings! For some reason, ive booked in a few things somehow without me even realising.

I have my first student starting with me next month going straight from basics right up to a specified field (its a friend so ill be going easy).

I have the wedding locked for March 21st

I then have a music group that need press work done which I will be doing at the end of March also and then they have also hired my as their press/events photographer for their party a few days later.

After that, heading to Brighton to take shots of a recording studio and following a band at a few places around the UK as they tour.

Now I just need to make sure I note everything properly. Or I will note this post.

Just installed this again http://theturninggate.net …g-client-response-gallery (external link) for Lightroom! Love it. Saves me having to even head out for an after event consultation. :)

I suppose it would help to pick a decent song to sing in the first place. ;)

Lucky you. I could murder a nice chicken tikka madras and a few pints of Cobra beer right now.
Oh wait, I don't think my employers would appreciate me doing that at work. Guess I'll have to wait.:p

We can have a chat about it on MSN tomorrow :)

Has anyone been seeing this popping up on facebook profiles recently?

What would your own album look like if you were in a band? Follow the directions below and find out.

Here are the rules:

1 - Go to Wikipedia. Hit “random” or click http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random (external link) The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2 - Go to Quotations Page and select "random quotations" or click http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3 (external link) The last four or five words of the very last quote on the page is the title of your first album.

3 - Go to Flickr and click on “explore the last seven days” or click http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days (external link) Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

4 - Use Photoshop or similar to put it all together.

5 - Post it to FB with this text in the "caption" or "comment" and TAG the friends you want to join in.

I've written to both facebook and Flickr about it as its a blatant promotion of copyright theft (Step 3) and i'd be so angry if someone nicked my photo from flickr and defaced it like that!!
