Morning All,

Of to HKG in 12 hours, not on a 737 i might add ;), got the 400 for the trip as well.
My Jobo Spectator broke last night, so i'm in a bit of a dilema on how to store the images while i'm away. I've got a cady which i can put a laptop HD into, but i'll just need to get the HD or i could burn everything to DVD's.....which do you think will be better?

DVDs could be better as all your eggs won't be in one basket and you can spread them across your luggage on the way home. Presuming you shoot more than one DVD-full of course :D

Agreed. Or if you can grab some cheapo 16gb SD cards, throw them onto there. Smaller in size than DVD's.

I would just go for DVD's since you can pick up a DVD spindle for peanuts.

Tesh/Chris - Thanks,I've got plenty spare dvd's so i'll prob take them, Shooting RAW my 50D will fill 4GB in about 160shots, so i'm estimating i'll need about 40gb of space for the 3 weeks i'm away.......... i think i'll need to book another couple of weeks of work when i get back to process them all:lol:

Morning guys... I have come to love watching all the scumbags on Jeremy Kyle in the mornings!! Whats everyone upto today? I'm looking for a supplier of wedding albums and thinking of new ways of designing and presenting them.

Dont want to spend more than about £70 for a full album though...

Good luck, have a safe trip!

We had a storm last week, with 300mm of rain in a day in some spots.

And we have another just arrived today

"HEAVY RAIN WARNING
AUCKLAND: Rain should become heavier during Friday night. In the 24 hours from midnight Friday to midnight Saturday expect widespread falls of 80 to 120mm. Up to 150mm is possible north of Whangaparaoa and about the Hunua ranges. Rainfall rates of 20 to 30mm per hour are likely from late Saturday morning.
STRONG WIND WARNING EXPOSED PARTS OF AUCKLAND, WAIKATO NEAR THE KAIMAI RANGES AND ALSO THE FIRTH OF THAMES AREA : Easterly winds are expected to rise to gale early Saturday morning. In the 12 hours from 3am to 3pm Saturday severe gales gusting 120 km/h"

Ah good fun - time to sleep through it
