YAY!!! Shall we now talk macs for the next 3,000 posts? :)

Woohoo, another new Mac user. :D

All i can say is, i hope i don't end up hating it! Never used a Mac before, but know my way around windows and DOS intimately

The guy in the Stormfront macstore in Maidstone was pretty useless when i asked him to show me the gesture stuff and explain to me why mac laptops have a longer life than a windows equivalent.

Most of the Dells used slower Ram and slower FSB speeds on the processors so this should hopefully run better (damn well better considering the price!)

I bought the macpro for the screen size and the fact that it had a 2nd GPU which could be used for CUDA when they change the software around it - im hoping its more futureproof this way.

Been in the manufacturing dungeons the past fortnight and am only just getting up for air now. These 11 hour days standing up all the time watching a dryer is doing my head in.

Anyway, the asylum looks a cool place to shoot and I've been looking for a chance to dig tha camera gear out of the bag for the first time this year. Unfortunately I can't make this weekend but are there plans of a repeat trip later this year? Alternatively, how easy is it to get access to the premises if I go solo? Knowing my luck I'll get booted from the place without taking a shot if I turn up solo.

PS Death to Macs. Long Live the PC! :D

I'd never used Mac before Rob and I found it easy enough to adjust pretty quickly.

Now, now. There's no reason why we can't embrace both. I have. ;)

Aww, how sweet.

On another note, I just sold my Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 so I'm another significant step closer to that 1Ds MKII. :D:D:D

Because of the Scooby-Doo style caretakers and their crazy antics?
