I prefer to make HDRs that look NOTHING like HDRs, for example this is one I did earlier:

Nice. I love the details but still have a problem with getting the colours right. I had a go at doing a HDR on a shot from the boiler room and the colours just didn't look like what I was seeing at the time. I might convert all my HDR shots to black and white to see how they compare.

This lot i have been desaturating, mainly to make the place as scary as it is in real life!

Wow nice Chris! Glad you your gear has had a new lease of life. Would you mind sharing some of your ai servo settings? also were you using the ROF to focus on the reg plate?

Bizarrely, settings are straight out of factory, totally reset. Nothing set at all.

Look forward to seeing them.

If we plan another visit, we should definitely go for more props and try some more portraiture shots, bit gutted I didn't ask to try on the gas mask.

I'm going to have to work on my technique a little more, I tried tracking some deer the the week I got the camera back but found my ROF shots a little hit and miss. No problems getting action shots in one shot mode though.

Heh, well lets see how many members we can get together.

Im sure we can get quite a few.

Put up a list, see who is up for it.

1. Elliott
2. Lewis
3. Rob
4. Mitesh

I won't be able to make it to that one, I'll be landing in Beijing around the time you guys are meeting up though so you can think about me ;)

Might be up for the 19th, what's this tag team thing?

I get the feeling you really don't want to know...

Looks awesome mate! Maybe show that to Brett and get him to sort out his camera instead of making the switch!

Can't do the 19th I'm afraid, I'll be at Brands for the BMCRC centenary.

I'm having another think about the track day meetup, and will try and put something together when I'm back from sunny Cornwall.

Also, if anyone's interested, there's a Wheels Day (external link) in Aldershot on Friday (10th). I might be heading down, haven't decided for sure... Might just see what the weather's doing. ;)

That sounds like my idea of a day out .. :D
