Haha we're damned if we do and damned if we don't! I don't know what to do with mine...

Random question but does anyone know a good place to buy a hotshoe adapter with 3.5mm jack like this (external link)? I've only found one from a US store ($18 all in) and was hoping to buy closer to home.

I ordered something similar from FlashZebra (external link). America too, but pretty quick with the shipment...

Got this (external link)... and can't get the receiver connected to the 430EX. So need the hotshoe adapter with 3.5mm jack in order to do that. Right?

I shot a wedding on sat and the registrars made the couple stand RIGHT in front of a massive window at 4pm with the sun shining right rhough it!! it was sooo hard to nail any kind of decent exposure and they said i was not allowed to move around so i was behind the couple!
In the end i sorted it and moved anyway! there was no amount of fill in that was going to sort out that harsh backlighting!!

The fun of working with clueless people, ay Elliott taking a group shot with the sun behind us!

Correct, I have the cactus v2, that just fits on the hotshoes without the use of jack cables!

I think Flash Zebra have the adapter you are looking for.

I picked up these (external link)a while ago

Unless you can find the adapter cheap, maybe think about these?

Ok thanks - guess I'll buy this (external link) and should be sorted. Well I hope so anyway!

*Edit* Just realised it's the same price as buying the set you have. Ah, for the sake of being stubborn I'll get the adapter...
