Hey guys!

My 24"x36" print was recently delivered from http://www.fullsizeposters.com/promo.php (external link)

It was a poster of this:

IMAGE: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3132/3120985027_3cac0d789a_o.jpg

The print turned out great! But with all the excitement in ordering this print and planning out where I was going to put it, I totally neglected the fact that I have to frame it or it'll look lame!

Sooo...would it be cheaper to make my own frame? (If so, how haha...) Or is there any place I can find one online or physically?

I see a lot of businesses have those cheap plastic/metal frames all over the place and I can imagine they would cost less than $20 bucks but I don't know where I could find them. Any advise? Thanks!

Try a Hobby Lobby if they have one near Panama City...they have decent frames w/glass, matting, etc all at decent prices, and every now then they run 50% off sales. They had one their 50% off sales recently where I framed an 11 x 14 and a 12 x 18 for less than $70...both with custom matting and glass. They have all sizes to suit your needs.

I can't remember the name of it, but its in the same shopping center as Walmart on 23rd, I had one framed by them that was smaller, but they'll do it I'm sure. It was an arts and crafts kinda place I guess...I think it started with an M? Sorry I can't remember the name.

Some Joannes do custom framing, you can look there. But be warned, they can also be very spendie.

Thanks for the replies guys, I actually went down to Michael's, that's probably what Glliw was talking about. Got a nice 40% discount and ended up paying $12 bucks. Though, the build quality is low so I have to make sure not to throw people against the wall where its hanging from...Good see another member from Bay County here!

Yes! That's the name of it. I've been racking my brain for the past couple days trying to remember the name of that stupid place haha.

Yep, live in Bay County, but I'm in Orlando for school so I'm not around often right now.

For future reference, Wal-Mart has (or at least had) inexpensive black acrylic poster frames that are decently made. I've used a few of those before.

Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here (external link). Cursing at your worse-than-a-map reflector? Check out this vid! (external link)

Try Michaels....They have pretty good pricing on frames and the size you need too. They'll do custom framing as well.
