Well,

The moon was not visible to the eye infact it only looked like a white light due to the snow coming down and cloud cover. However i have been itching to actually get to use my new scope.

So with out adue this is the first decent shot i have taken and man i need a EQ mount i just can do any micro adjustments on this ballhead :D

This is not cropped used my 1D mark3 through my Sky-watcher 127mm

Well i have come to understand that using my Photography tripod and heads just don't cut it!!!.. lol

After spending 6-8 mins trying to get the moon lined up by tightening and losing the ball heads... I finally get it lined up and then go and start my focus and stuff on my camera and before you know it its out of frame.. So then another 10 mins mucking around losing the moon re finding it.. lol

I so need a EQ mount or something simular so once i have the target in sight i can just turn a knob a little to realign my shot :D

Anyone have an old one they want to part with :D
