Hey its perfectly possible to do great with MF..

I could go either way to be honest, I do override my AF lenses a lot...the only camera I never had to do that with was my EOS-3 it seemed..or at least nowhere near as often as my 30D..

Let's see a 10 frame rip of an Eagle flying full-bore directly at the photographer with this rig.

That will test his follow-focus abilty! ;)

Does anyone else use this Photodiox adapter. Seems like a best-of-both-worlds deal.

I've heard its a good one...

I've thought of bugging my friend for this Nikon equipment we got off eBay for $100 [Which we split between the two of us for $50 a piece] a few years ago, including a 50mm f/1.8 Ai-S and an old Nikon flash [As well as a Nikon FG, a Vivitar Series 1 135mm f/2.8 prime, and a Sigma 28-85 f/3.5-5.6 which was oddly good] and then getting the fotodiox adapter to use the lenses on my 30D...

And use the FG for film :D

I use Fotodiox for all my adapters (Contax, Olympus, M42, Nikon). Good quality stuff.
