I'm a total newb trying to figure out the ropes. I just got my camera and ordered the Opteka battery grip for it last night. Any suggestions on a good strap for that combo? Is the E1 a good value? Would this one work: http://www.bhphotovideo.com …a_Comfort_Grip_Strap.html (external link)

I had a strap like that for my XS, but then I got the Opteka battery grip and I gave the strap to my Mom to use. It really inhibited the ability to comfortably hold the camera in portrait mode with the battery grip.

Isn't that a problem with all straps? I'm currently using a Lowepro strap with my Nikon D300 and it does get in the way when I'm shooting in portrait position.

Yes, any had strap like that will have the same problem. I have gone back to just using the canon neck strap on mine.
