I have an interview in about a week and am wanting to give the interviewer a tangible representation of my work...I've put together this portfolio book (external link), but I need some second opinions about the images included...help?? I'm especially unsure about the photos in the "candid" section and the soccer picture (I felt like I needed a sport other than basketball and I can't find the REALLY good soccer picture that I have...)

Please, please, please be brutal! This is really important to me...

Interview is for an internship at a Christian summer camp.

ETA: Note link to portfolio book!! :):) (external link)

I've going to need a few moments with this. First thing I noticed, for 26 pages it is succinct however some of the skin tones need to be adjusted.

I'll be back hopefully for a more detailed analysis.

It's a PDF made from iPhoto, I'll see if I can talk it into being smaller...should be up sometime around 4, I have class until then. I've also updated it on advice from DPC.

needs work, the WB in a lot of your images is off. Your sports shots... lave them out. Esp the basketball boys, it is just a bad.. picking butts and crotches eyes closed... And as far as the art section it doesn't "fit" it doesn't follow the voice i have seen in the other images.

OK, here's a smaller one, updated, with the actual cover.

PORTFOLIO (my computer says 4 MB) (external link)

I've completely redone the sports section...I am completely not sure about that soccer shot, and the football one is just kind of there....

Here are my thoughts, I'm commenting on the pages I think are good or would be good with slight differences.
The glasses reflection on page 4 is too distracting, doesn't work for a portrait, otherwise I think it'd be a great shot with great colors!
The left side of page 6 is good, only thing I'd do it warm up the wb a bit. The right side has a bit too much of a camera-held-out self-portrait look to me.
The left side of page 10 needs a wider crop to show her toes and maybe more umbrella but it looks very nice.
Pages 11 and 12 are very good, you nailed those ones. She's a good shot on the cover also.
Page 15 is nice and it's interesting but I'm not sure it's something for a portfolio for clients (neither expression shows someone in a way they'd want to pay for, imo).
Page 16 is a good example of 'candid'
The football player is good, though not 'action'
Page 20 is a good shot, but your originally-posted pdf has a wider crop of that picture (I think) and it's better because it has his feet in it. If they're two different shots then I just prefer the basketball action shots you had originally (2 were on the same page)
Pages 22 and 23 are good for art (imo again), they look like effort went into them. The sharper piano shot is better.

That's all just my opinion, hope it helps though! Nice shots!
