Anybody entering the Billboard Photo of the Year contest

Might be a nice addition to my resume, so I am figuring out what I might submit. Anybody else enter or thinking about entering?

Most of these photo contests are just a rights grab in disguise. Read the fine print.

At least one photo editor thinks the Billboard contest is just for Billboard/PDN to make some money. Especially because they list no prizes, who the judges are and they keep extending the deadline.

I didn't realize that the contest had been extended many times now. I know at one time they had judges and prizes listed and now they don't. I have a hard time thinking Billboard is scamming everyone though. They are a well known name in the biz, afterall.

No. You retain copyright to your photograph and the Sponsors may not sell your photo entry for a fee. All entries may be posted online so that viewers may view all competing entries. And winning entries may be used in connection with the Contest and promotion of the Contest for a period of 24 months from the date winners are notified."
