Thanks Fern. I havent been shooting any cityscape because I don't have a good tripod. I'm planning on just splurging on a Gitzo when
I have enough funds. Your uncle is a smart man, I have bought a lot of gear which I ended up selling.

I own two Gitzo,
however I just picked up one of these strictly for waterfalls/landscapes, it's a sturdy, rock Solid and very easy to maintain one and parts are extremely easy to get unlike Gitzo. It comes w/ a 5 year warranty and the price is right too..compared to Gitzo

I remember you mention that brand last time we were at LSP. Do you know if their smaller tripods are as good? I'm looking for something comparable to the 2 series.

Hopefully I can make Central Park.

FYI, the photoplus expo is next week in the Javits Center in NYC. I have never been to a photo convention, and since there is a promo code for free admission to the expo thanks to google, Im planning to go to the Test drive on Wed nite and hitting up the expo Sat afternoon.
