Um, I'm a year late in responding to this post but are there nany central area Jerseyans out there that would like to meet to shoot sometime?

What do you call Central Jersey? As far as I'm concerned, anything south of 78 is South Jersey to me (which drives my wife from Flemington crazy).

Where are you and where did you have in mind for a meetup?

And I could understand why - I live about 15 minutes north of Flemington, and I guess I'm in Central Jersey by the way you judge

I wouldn't mind meeting up with some people to get some tips, some pics, and generically enjoy the day

I would be interested...I live in Northern Jersey (morris county).

I'm in Bridgewater about 2 miles south of 78. So I guess on your map I'm really living in south Jersey. LOL
Flemington is approx 25 min drive south from my area just to give you an idea of location.
Lately I have been wanting to experiment with long exposures at night. Preferably I'd rather not go alone in a remote area. Also , it is much more fun to shoot with others that share the same interest in photography. There are so many great places to shoot in NJ.

not to go off topic here, but do you guys have some names of good places to shoot around here? I was in high point today for a baseball game (farm country!) and there looked like a million places to take a beautiful landscape. The sun and clouds were just perfect tonight.

I went to High Point Regional High School and am originally from that area. Plenty of places to shoot in Sussex County. The mountain that I grew up on (Sunrise Mountain) is a great place to start.

relatively new to jersey but im looking to shoot some sports (high school baseball, etc) and get some practice doing that.

anyone close by would love to get together and do some shoots (this week would be great i borrowed my friends 70-200 and looking to get some use out of it)
