Got to play a bit tonight.

Just after work:

Through the trees:

Best shot yet through my scope:

Got a chance to play with using the scope eyepieces tonight and found two problems. Even with the lowest power lens the moon was moving too fast for the shutter speed necessary to get enough light in. The other problem is the not so sturdiness of my mount. When using lenses even the shutter was enough to shake the picture.

Oh well, I'll just use it in prime mode, does well enough that way.

Have you tried stacking images to get a nice crisp moon shot?

No I haven't. Most of the ones I take anymore, except for through the scope, are hand held.
