Hi there all you photo-pros! just added a couple of new shots and i would like some criticism...

Shots are all taken with my 70-200mm L, no external flash.

Taken indoors, in a fairly dark room with reddish curtains closed to boost colour warmth. windows used as source of light and strategically pointing subjects to reflect the light

The last one is a rather interesting abstract.

The antique cameras are not organized and composed very artfully. Those shots would suffice if you are just picturing them for an e-bay sale, or as an inventory of insured items, but they need more thought in the composition and lighting if you are trying to create fine art.

Love the last one... especially those "eye lashes". The other photographer leaning in from the right contributed a bit too much denim at bottom right - might be better cloned out. Not sure you needed to shoot quite so side on... if the blue car is the subject (as I believe it ought to be), then you just need enough either side to create context. I wonder if a portrait orientation might not have worked better...?

For the other shots: the focus seems off in the top one, and while the composition might be interesting for being unusually spacious above the camera, that demands that the subject matter really delivers on interest and detail. Second shot tries for a fifty/fifty divide with the background brightness - always risky compared to Rules of Thirds. Can see deliberate compositional effort in both of these, but not in the last one, which doesn't even seem to get the horizon level.

Cheers, Tony

thanks for the intense comments, really appreciate it :)
i agree, in the first shot the focus should have been moved further to the middle of the lense, or else been wider. with regards to the Bug photo, situation was a bit out of my hands as this was taken at a motor fair. the reflection on the bug's bonnet is indeed somewhat distracting and will also benefit from a crop.
