#1 Normally you like to include either where they jumped from or where theyre going to land. This really doesnt have either. The rider against the dark background kind of works in an abstract sense but if I was going to use it in such a manner, Id crop out whatever is at the bottom of the frame. Id also do some processing to make the rider pop more from the background.

#2 Underexposed and its just a snapshot.

#3 See #1. Blurry/Soft

you can't fix the softness but you can get rid of the extreme banding from the high ISO. It would be nice to have a wider angle of this shot.

Sorry. I should have added a description to the edit I did to your image. I added a curve to the image and moved the black point +15 on the curve. I then ran the picture through an action I created for a lot of my sports stuff. It does a two stage sharpen, a slight increase in saturation - and maybe something else. I'm not at the correct computer now so I can't check... sorry :)

The banding is small enough and dark enough that it is easily removed with the black point adjustment but without adjusting the rest of the tone curve it darkens the whole image too much. I think the result is a much nicer/cleaner image.
