Got the Bees on a Thursday, shot with them two days later. I was attempting to get reasonable looking skin tones. Don't like some of the backgrounds, but was somewhat restricted with positioning. Very little PP, some cropping, a few "as is." 40D, f/2.8, 70-200mm, Two Bees 800's.

Yeah, the lighting is tough to get just right on the skin, but isn't it great to do 'nothing' on PP! Congrats on the bees.

It's truly amazing! Huge time saver, will keep trying to improve captures! Got to admit, after spending lots of time on this forum (during this past year), you (all) saved me lots of prep work. Thanks! Also, a special thanks to Dr. Z. Get to try them out tonight for HS Boys' Basketball. Can't wait.

Lighting setup seems to work well...great exposures...Problem I'm having is the composition. You have not one full body shot of them in action...Just head shots.
Unless you do and just didn't post.
Anyhow, nice lighting.

Thanks for the CC.

I do have several "full body shots", but my mission was for "tight" and/or faces on that day with emphasis on skin tones.

8 is immediately the strongest image

#1 The expression in nice on the girl but the older woman's hand and her purse detract from its composition
#2 Dont really know what to say. The lighting is nice. I would expect a little more emotion during cheer/dance though.
#3 Where is her right hand? Throws it out of balance for me.
#4 Lighting looks hot but Im on my fiance's laptop which is always bright. If I had to guess, Im sure its probably fine and its just me. The picture is alright. Background is mildly distracting though
#5 Interesting...
#6 If I could just see more of that other eye, Id like this a lot more.
#7 It works. I think one showing their legwork might be a little more interesting though. Theres nothing particularly special going on from just the waist up so there is no need to crop it that way.
#8 Only nitpick is the girl in the background but this one really speaks volumes to how much a simple face and two eyes at the camera can do for a picture.

Lighting is nice overall. Id definitely like to invest in my own someday.
