It it looks too good to be true it probably is.

Just because a seller is listed on the Amazon site, it doesn't mean they're in any way as reliable as Amazon themselves.

Just think of them the same as eBay shops.

I thought Amazon had some way of weeding the phonies like this out, unlike ebay. The deals offered by these guys, "Black Sheep Deals" are way over the top. For example, a "Used-Like New" Nikon D700 for $1158.00? I wonder what would happen if I actually tried to checkout with this item in my cart?

These deals don't pass the smell test. BlackSheepDeals is a dealer in children's toys. How did they come across an inexhaustible supply of "like new" high end electronics? How can they sell them at half of retail value? I found this link that might explain.

I was wondering about this myself, yet they list all kinds of high-end electronics on Amazon. Thanks for the heads up. It's amazing that people like this can get on to Amazon, and then Amazon acting like they don't care. I've always considered them a step above Ebay.

I've never had a problem with third party sellers on Amazon. Ebay is a different story though..

What a scam! Thanks for contacting them HaroldC3. They revealed their true character. I'm surprised they didn't ask for a credit card number as well. I can't believe Amazon doesn't crack down on people like this.

SCAM Alert! Normally you would check out THROUGH Amazon. They would not be contacting amazon on your behalf. Clearly a scam.
