The G&N forum's lost some of its friendly tone, and I'm staying out of it for now, so I thought I'd share my most recent work here instead! Let me know what you think.

Hey Perry, 'sup:)!

Nice shots! It's interesting comparing the two in the B&W dress.

I would have to agree, there is a lot of critique there when none is asked for, and comments are constantly about the models in violation of the section rules. It needs some heavy moderation in my mind. Skin is in over there, and everything else seems secondary.

I like this collage, the only thing I would have liked different would be to have strong eye contact in two of the images, as opposed to just one. However, that is subjective, and in no part detracts from the work.

Thanks for the critique Stickman, I always appreciate it - I was thinking the exact same thing about the eye contact in 2 images, but I decided to go for just my four favourites from the set for the composite.

Thanks Pete!

The precise setup might be a tad different between the shots, but basically it's a Vivitar 285HV bounced off a big reversible umbrella for the main light, silver reflector for fill, and a 430EX fired through a small softbox for the rim light. 1D Mark III, 24-105L, f/9, ISO200.

Great work Perry.

I agree though that it would balance better if the lower right image also had some piercing eye contact.

Thanks for the lighting setup. I have been wanting to do some portrait work for sometime and am looking into the light setups right now. These images are very, very good. Thanks again for your light set up and sharing the images. Pete
