Northern Colorado here, but I've only been into photography for a couple months here, so I'm not exactly the best resource :)

Hello, SS!

I don't live in your area, but I travel there a couple times a year. The areas near you that I find most interesting are the Rocky Mountain National Park and Wyoming's Bighorn mountain range (in northeast WY).

Have you been to RMNP to photograph the elk?

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Denver area here. Up until 2006 was shooting on a film SLR, then made the leap to digital, and in the last month have made the transition DSLR. I'm having a lot of fun while I climb the learning curve.

New guy here from Cheyenne. I've been reading the POTN for a while, trying to learn by reading others questions and replies.

I would be open to a get together sometime.

I started out withan XTI, and recently moved to a 40D.
