A holga would be cool. The 35mm conversion is really neat too.

WOW, i was looking at some film camera including Holga, and the price of it making me to think to get one, i wasted on many things more expensive so this camera will not be a problem at all in price, but i always looking for top models or some of the best.

In all cases i am not trying to buy any film camera any soon, i am happy with all my cameras and i don't have much photography to do so i should buy a film, but really i would like to try it as it is the origin and beginning of photography.

Tareq - If you just want to dabble without a big outlay, Keep an eye out for old 60's/70's rangefinders. You can pick up Konica C35s, Minolta Himatics and Yashicas pretty cheaply.

Old Ricoh, Zenit and Praktica SLRs can be had for peanuts too, and either use M42 or Pentax K mounts - loads of cheap (and decent quality!) lenses about in those mounts...

Man, how cool is it to see so many film users still out there. I thought I was a dying breed!

Not quite as old as you but certainly one of the best film cameras that Canon ever made was the T-90. Lot's of settings to play with, a fast synch speed and a built-in motordrive capable of 4.5 frames per second.j

Match that with a 20-35 3.5mm L lens and 300TL and you're set for most social events. Of course it'll cost a bit more than the $100 that you were looking to spend. In that case, better stick to the AE-1, AE-1P or A-1.

Good luck!
