Hi all,
Thanks Mitch for the setting advice for the 40d. Just managed to get an hour out today, not much about. You can always rely on the good old robin to put on a pose for you.
Taken with the 70-200f4 is with ef 1.4tc converter. Iso 400 f6.3.

Seems to be a big improvement in sharpness and no of keepers.

Thanks for viewing and any comments.

Wow, great shots Phil. The 40D had some big changes in the Custom Functions and the way it handles focusing, so it needed different settings to make it work right. Drove me nuts at first, then I sat down with the camera and book one night and worked through it til I got it right. :)

Lovely shots Phil, it's a pity there was no snow for it to pose in?

Thanks Mitch, I,m so pleased with todays results. Did as you said and it seems to be working a dream. only took a few shots and most were spot on in focus. Thanks again Mitch. :)

DaveMcBride Lovely shots Phil, it's a pity there was no snow for it to pose in?

Cheers Dave, there was plenty of snow around but this little fellow was enjoying a bit of sun next to a frozen lake, I sat on a rock for a while and he was very obliging and threw me some poses. :)

SAS_TDS veryy great shots, thanks for sharing
