This is my first photo I've put on here. I went to the Niagara Falls Aviary today. How could you go wrong finding a bird there?!?

I'm new to DSLR's and haven't worked out my camera yet...but give me time!

So, here goes...This is a Scarlet Ibis. I really like his colour.

You captured its colour well. That bird was just meant to be photographed.

Thanks everyone.

It's a bit to get used to, using a DSLR. All these buttons, and things. A lot more complicated than my Miranda EE! (if anyone is old enough to remember them).

And I know, going to the aviary is like shooting fish in a barrel, so to speak. I just need to get used to the feel of my Canon.
