We travel the 100 miles between our home and my folks' home quite often, and there is a tree about half way that has an eagle in it quite often.
Yesterday, this beauty was sitting there as we drove past, and was nice enough to sit there while we pulled over, got my camera, changed lenses, then walked around for a bit.
The skies were icky and gray, but what can you do?
First two shots are with ISO 400 because I just got the 40D, and when I dialed my ISO all the way down (like I'm used to doing with my 30D), it went into 'auto' iso, which I am NOT used to at all, LOL. It took me a couple minutes to catch it, when I couldn't figure out why my shutter speed was so high.
All taken with the 40D and the 70-200 2.8 IS.
Thanks for looking, and any suggestions are welcome.
