I like the color much better. Framing is great, I agree. Fix the horizons though as they take away from a great image.

Hi - yes - shot wide open (70-200L Non IS) f2.8 ... 1/500 ISO1250 - was very lucky with the lighting ... had better joy at a later game (different rink) where I could drop my ISO to 800 and bump speed to 1/750 ... here is one from that batch (just chosen randomly) ... thx Phil

Looks like you got a shutter speed that works (puck is pretty solid), and noise is under control so maybe you can close the lens up and pick up some DOF as an option?

Yup sure did - but only in that rink :( ... probably won't get opportunity to shoot there again for quite a while ... the team mainly plays in 'poorly-lit' rinks ... but next time - I will close it up a bit and get better DOF. Thanks all for your comments :) phil
