I am curious what custom functions people are using on their 5D2
What do you have enabled in C.Fn I, II, III and so on and why?

I meant the C.Fn Custom functions. What do you have those set on? Canon 5D IV | Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 IS L Mark 2 | Canon 85mm f/1.8 | 580 EX II

Basically my brain works faster thinking in terms of whole or half stops and it's also faster to adjust the camera when you limit it's options. Ducky 2.0T wrote in post #7290747 Also - ALO is C.Fn II-4 whoops, and fixed... it's #4 but option 3 is disabled... My Gear List

Need to check my settings a bit before that tho. And then probably the other two for shooting weddings. /Petra Hall

Just making sure we're both saying this only effects JPEGs. C.Fn IV-3: 6 - Assign Set button to Record (couldn't think of anything else that I needed to use the set button for) so, with that set like that, in a shooting mode... you press set does it go into recording a movie directly? I might have to play around with that and just adjust to using the play button for playback to eliminate some button pushing! My Gear List

I thought maybe it would flag an NR setting in DPP, which I use occasionally (like the way picture styles and WB works), so I just left it off. jacobsen1 wrote in post #7296856 so, with that set like that, in a shooting mode... you press set does it go into recording a movie directly? Yes sort of, but you have to have Live View set to Movie Mode in the menu. If you leave live view in movie mode all the time with C.Fn IV-3 set to 6, you would want to be careful not to bump the set button accidentally.
