I'm not even sure if anyone would want it, but if I could, should I?? Than I'd have to sell my 17-55 and get 24-70L.

I got a 5D only cause the lenses I already had would be more suited for a FF and the 40D I had was within the 30-day return policy. You already invested in good lenses, keep the 40D unless its limiting you "Shooting the 5D is like shooting a view camera: its a pain, but the results are why you do it." - Ken Rockwell :p

Feb 09, 2009 17:30 | #8 ebann wrote in post #7290095 I wouldn't. Agreed. If you are in need of another body, then sell the 20D IR and get a used 5D mk I. Keep the 17-55mm because I would rather have that then the 24-70mm almost any day(unless I get my 1d one day). You get just as good build(minus weather sealing), faster focus, and the best part: IS. The 17-55 on your 40D and the 70-200mm on the 5D is an amazing setup. "I work from awkwardness. By that I mean I don't arrange things.
