2000th post! Short-eared Owl--My First!

I wanted to celebrate my 2000th with a first for me!
I lucked out today and not only saw my first Short-eared Owl but was fortunate to capture some shots of this 'cute' little raptor. :):):-D (At least I 'THINK' it's a Short-eared--let me know if I ID'd it wrong please!). Whatever it is, it's my first one and I'm a happy camper! Thanks for viewing!!

Great shots! Although his eyes are gorgeous, I actually like the shot w/ his eyes closed for whatever reason!
