Congrats on the acquisition of the 28ais. The 28/2.8 is a good lens. One of the great things about it is that it has a floating element and can focus very close.

Ring congratulations (external link) by Jcareyphoto (external link), on Flickr

shot with my vivitar 28 2.5 and two small m42 macro rings

Behind the scenes: I shot this on an 8" square mirror they were using as part of the centerpieces on their tables. I used two forks stuck in a tea candle holder (goldfish bowl shaped thing that had sand and some rocks in around a small candle) to prop up a white napkin. softbox 45* camera right, bare hot-shoe flash 45* camera left.

This is beautiful. Nice work! Also, thank you to those who commented on the Summicron photos I posted the other day. I'll have to take that lens out more. The bokeh really is fantastic on the 5D2. This is probably my favorite photo thread on PotN. It allows me to be nostalgic in a world overrun by digital. You all post amazing photos!

Got bored and decided to do a photo shoot with Lord Zedd from the original Power Rangers series. Taken with 5D2 and Leica Summicron-R 50mm f2. I should probably find better uses for this lens. Hahaha!

WARNING!: Before commenting that my color correction is horrible, please keep in mind that I am colorblind, and that hasn't stopped me from trying.
