Well, hell, if it's that affordable, I'll pick one up, too, if I come across it. Thanks!

....but I don't know if that'll keep me from wanting that last 5%. :p

Oh, I understand, I still lust for a C/Y Zeiss 50/1.4, but again, my Yashica renders almost the same, just a bit less contrast and cooler colors.

The Yashica lenses are often over looked because of all the Pentax and Olympus lenses that have become so famous, but they remain my favorite bunch of vintage lenses.

Frankly, I'm just glad that we have this much to choose from. At first, a combination of thriftiness and retro-nerdery lead me to alt glass. Now it's the choice of rendering characteristics that's driving me (because the ones I like aren't necessarily pocket change anymore).

Bill is my name - I'm the most wanted man on my island, except I'm not on my island, of course. More's the pity.

I know exactly what you mean. I got so into using manual glass that now it's all I have for my 6D

I agree, Yashica is amazing for the price right now.

And I just picked this up this morning for $45.

Except for that damage on the front of the filter mount, its spotless. No fungus, focuses smooth no issues whatsoever.

I might have an addiction starting lol.

The Rokkor-X lenses are great, and great values these days... I had a 40mm pancake, that I used on a X-E1, but sold it because the MD/MC lenses don't adapt well to EOS...

Why do they not adapt well to EOS?

I have a 28 2.8 that works good.

Im going to use the same adapter for the rokkor-x.

Did I miss something?

I go by this chart over on mflenses.com. The MD lenses have a flange distance that is .5 mm shorter than EOS, so any adapted MD/MC lens would not be able to focus to infinity... Personally, when I put a lens on, I don't want to be limited so I stick with OM, M42, and C/Y mount lenses.
