I wish this wasn't such a pricey lens, I'd pick up one for myself if it were cheaper.

ever consider the Zenitar 16mm 2.8 fisheye?

there's also the Takumar 17mm 4.0 fisheye

Not as good as the Nikon but you can get can both for under $200 if you keep an eye out.

Those look interesting, but I'd probably just get the newer copy of the Samyang 8mm with the removable hood if I were to get another fisheye, or the f/2.8 version for my Fuji. I had the old 8mm for my T2i and it was great, but cropping every shot got tedious with the 6D so I sold it.

A couple more shots from a lens I kinda want now...

I just got a Nikon to Canon adapter for this lens and it works great. I've had this lens over 7 yrs, but never used it since I got rid of my Nikon gear. Works nicely with the Canon 30D. Tamron Adaptall-2 (external link) SP 90mm f/2.5 (52B) Anyone got one? This lens is legendary for macro and portraits. I thought there would be a thread dedicated to it, but I could not find one. I'll post some shots in a couple of days.

It's a lens I keep an out for! definitely still has a cult following.
I sold my Vivitar 55mm 2.8 1:1 macro and regret it.

Definitely a great lens. You know you could've just gotten the Adaptall EOS mount for it, right? That's where the name comes from, those lenses adapt to any mount ;)

I agree I took some flowers pics with it when I had the Nikon. I lost all the pics from a flood. :( Yeah I saw those mounts, but I got one for $11.50 works great with the chip too:

Can you guys recommend a good MF 10-14 wide angle lens for a Canon 30D? for less than $100. I know I'm pushing it. Thanks.

Probably not. The widest I have seen is 17mm.

Can't beat that ;) I wasn't scrutinizing you, I was just curious. I also have an adaptall 2 lens which I bought with an M42 mount, since I already had some spare M42-EOS adapters I use it via one of those
