I have a friend who's a minolta freak and he said the 58mm was the sharpest of the bunch. I had the 50 and it was phenomenonal. Gotta borrow his 58 after seeing those!!

By the way anyone have samples with the Canon FD 50 1.8 or the 35-105 3.5?

How about the Tokina 90-230 4.5?
My adapters haven't came in yet and I'd love to see samples.

I'm pretty happy with it for the $30 I spent on it :) I bought it originally as a portrait lens on my X-E1, but it does a pretty awesome job on the a7S too.

I have two FD 50mm 1.8's and a 28mm FD, left over from film days. I will try to put one of them on my A6000 and post some photos. I have so many lenses to try with the A6000 it's hard to pick which ones to use. I did use an old FD mount Tokina 70-210 with the A6000 on a trip to France with decent results, it was fun. I have a couple more old FD zooms by Vivitar (Series 1) and Soligor I should try on the A6000 but haven't gotten around to it yet.

I was looking for one on ebay and all the under $100 ones were beat to hell or had fungus/oil issues. You definitely stole it at $30!

I had the Vivitar Series 1 70-210mm 3.8 by Kiron and it was really good. Even did 1:2 macro without a converter. Here's some wide open shots from it.

Can't remember what camera I used it on but it was eirher my EOS M or 7DM2.
