I was looking for one on ebay and all the under $100 ones were beat to hell or had fungus/oil issues. You definitely stole it at $30!
Yeah, mine's not in perfect shape, but it's optically good to go, no fungus or oil
I found it at a flea market attached to an SLR and the guy was refusing to sell it seperately at first with a couple other lenses I had no interest in... but I thankfully talked him into giving me just the 58mm for $30. The funny thing is I was specifically looking for a 55-58mm f1.4 at the time to use as a portrait lens on the X-E1 and we stopped in at this little flea market on our way home from a vacation and I found it
I had the Vivitar Series 1 70-210mm 3.8 by Kiron and it was really good. Even did 1:2 macro without a converter. Here's some wide open shots from it.
Can't remember what camera I used it on but it was eirher my EOS M or 7DM2.
I have the Series 1 70-210/2.8-4 Kimone and it's an excellent lens.
Here was a shot from my 6D with it and a 100% crop, I was showing someone else this lens and forgot to remove the crop image from my Flickr
