How do you like that Tamron 24mm? I've had my eyes off and on one of those for a little while now.

Tamron 24mm is a piece of amazing glass. I put on a M42 mount so it works with my lens turbo that i get full 24mm in A6000.
If you can find a good copy, I will highly recommend to get one.

Been eyeing a few 24mm's. Missed a RMC but looking at a Sigma Super Wide II at the moment in FD mount.

I was not happy with my Sigma 24mm super wide. It was terribly soft and had bad corners. Had to step it down to F8-11 to be usable.

From what I can gather with a quick bit of searching, there's an "original" and a "II" of which the II is said to be the better one....

I think there's more than two, my version was the one that had built in filters. Basically one ring set it to UV, Red, Yellow and Orange.

I'll dig up some pictures of it and some samples. If you can deal with slightly longer there's TONS of sharp 28mm lenses for DIRT CHEAP. 24MMs sell for a whole lot more.

EDIT found a pic of it

Some samples, with heavy post work and even then they were nothing to be happy about.

I've had dozens of 28mm lenses that I've picked up for $2-25 and they've been super awesome.

The Samyang 28mm 2.8 being my favorite.

That's different to the one I'm expecting. I have a Yashica 28/2.8 but from my experience C/Y>NEX adapters light leak..... The FD doesn't appear to do that so we'll see what happens..... ;)
