Sony A7 Samyang 85mm 1.4
I'm really liking this lens!

Maybe I'm being too much of a stickler... but I wouldn't consider any Samyang lens to be "adapted" considering they come in just about any mount imaginable (including Sony FE). Don't get me wrong, I think your shots are great, just not sure this is the best place for them... I have oodles of shots with my Samyang lenses that I don't share in here for that reason.

You would be wrong, Samyang has been making glass since the 1970s, here's an example of a lens I had to adapt, since it never came in Canon EF mount.

their 135mm 2.8 lenses are actually hugely popular, but again it never came in EF mount so people have to adapt it. These lenses were re-branded for third parties like Sears, JC penny, Vivitar,etc.., I know you have the 135, so you may already have an adapted Samyang lol Tomioka also made a 135mm for those brands though, so it may also be that version. The easy way to check is for "Made in Korea" on the side, since they were the only Koreon lens makers at the time.

OK, I'm aware they made lenses for SLR's, I'm saying any modern Samyang lens (like the 85/1.4 that the poster had used) can be bought in just about any mount, thus it's not really accurate to call it "adapted" even if the particular version you have is for another mount (like my EF mount 85mm that I use on my Fuji bodies).

I kinda see what you are getting at but i think that, yes, you are being a stickler about it ߘ.
The lens is MF so at least it complies with that criteria of the thread.
I just got a Canon 50 1.4 FD for my A7 so i'll post some of those...
And thanks for the compliments on my shots!

Ed is at it again!

The Dark Side is in prototyping stages. Canon FD 35mm 2.8 Tilt shift with a Nikon F-Mount. 2.5mm lower profile EdMount solution while retaining rotation clicks is making me work hard for new design approaches. My Nikon D800 and D200 bodies haven't arrived yet so I'm using this old F-401s SLR as a development mule.

Adapted Nikon AI 50mm f1.4 shot wide open. Even on a crop sensor I'm blown away with the depth of field.

1.4 is hard to beat, I have a 1.2 and I can hardly tell the difference. Gonna have to buy a 0.95 to even notice.

I just got the adapter and I was surprised on how sharp it was.
