Pons pics of the Dean.

What a great day ,as ever in great company with Rhodri and Rich from here.

A pretty chilly, icy cold day,but credit to the organisers, marshalls and crews for getting it all on.

First up ,Even winner ,Nik Elsmore, right on it all day.

Lovely old Volvo at home in the snow.

IMAGE: http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r223/chrispons/volvo.jpg

Looks like it was cold in the cars too.

IMAGE: http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r223/chrispons/doubletrouble.jpg

One of the quick Irish crews.
IMAGE: http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r223/chrispons/madbarrett.jpg

Got to have a Burton and Pug shot, third on the day.

IMAGE: http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r223/chrispons/burton2.jpg

Onto the afternoon,a Rover than nearly finished in a ravine ,but just clung on.

IMAGE: http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r223/chrispons/amendedrover.jpg

Got to include Jon Ballinger.
IMAGE: http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r223/chrispons/jonballinger1.jpg

And finally it was getting dark, the pretty Saxo with a touch of flash.

I hope your not too bored looking at more Dean pics.

All good shots there Chris, knew the Ballinger shot was a winner straight away - nice to see it from the opposite side to where I captured it.

Have you ordered a 580EX yet? I was expecting them to have to drag you out of that forest after Rich gave you a bash with it!

Great photo's Pons. The shot of the Volvo is my favourite. Looks like it is really being hustled along. The Peugeot is just Mad though. Looks like it would kill you!

Well thank you my good friends.
Who would have thought the old Volvo would be the pic winner.

Actually ,the old historics are great, not enough out for me ,too many 1400s on this event, but made for full entry.
Rhodri,
Yes,nice piece of kit alright ,and was very dark and cold when we left, poor Rich was sat in car freezing all iced up when I got back.He never stuck heater on.
Kev,
That Pug hybrid is incredible ,4 wheel drive ,and very clever owner, builder, driver ,sounds amazing.
Pete,
The old Volvo came out very sharp, and was pleased.
Vesa,
Loads of them Rovers over here, cheap motoring, have one myself, same colour and all.

Cheers,
Pons

Thanks for the info.
No wonder I did not recognize that. Looks like only Peugeot part left in that car is the logo

Nice shots Chris. I like 1,2 & 5. Glad you enjoyed playing with the flash. That shot's come out well just a pity about reflective number plates, need more mud to cover them.

Lovely old Ovlov there :)

it just proves you don't have to resort to silly tilts, simply dig a huge hole for the cars to fall into ;)

Nice shots Pons.I mostly like the last one,the one with the Saxo.It shows the darknes of the day,and i like the grass that is in front of the car.
I would like to see it with those drivers red-eyes removed
