I use Picasa, Poladroid and 3D freeware. Feel free to share what you use, what it does and a link. Thanks! :D

Well, the username matches the post! :p ;)

Thanks for the tip of Deviant, tho. I don't go there often but I have been looking for brushes that produce an effect like a deepsea sponge "blotched" onto a canvas. I'll look there.

At my office I use Picassa only for searching and viewing my collection of real estate photos.

Geotagging (windows only, I think for these):

EasyGps (external link) - For getting Tracks off GPS.

Geosetter (external link) - Syncing those tracks to a folder of images; and embedding lat/long + location names into metadata... even embeds to RAW files.

Deviant has great brushes and a huge amount. I like to use the brushes for clouds.

Obsidian Dawn also has a great section of free brushes.

PanosFX has some decent actions and some are free.

CoffeeTeaPhotography has actions I use very frequently.

and I also use Picassa as well
