Lion and Leopard

A couple of pictures from my visit to the wild life sanctuary over the weekend. I had some flare with the leopard due to a bad angle. Comments and suggestions always welcomed and appreciated.

Of the two I prefer the second the leopard stands out nicely and the background is nicely out of focus. However I would prefer it if their eyes were the point of focus.
The first is too busy for me, it might be me being stupid but I cannot work out if the lion is on its own or is there part of another animal in the bottom left corner

Yes, the eyes should be the focus point. Try it, you'll be surprised at how much more drama the picture takes on when the eyes are in focus.

Love the photo of the black leopard. As mentioned, would have loved it more if the eyes were in focus.

There is something so mysterious about black leopards/jaguars IMO.

I love the lion's expression, but is it just me? There looks like a LOT of cloning on the upper portion of that image.
