It's always a nice treat when you are looking back through your pics and pick up a new life bird that at the time you thought was something else. I just did this tonight. Looking for a few pics to print, I came across this one bird and thought, now what kind of bird is that. Looked it up and it was a yellow-throated warbler. Getting close to 200 life birds in approximately 5 years, most of those have been in Oklahoma. I picked up like 8 lifers this past weekend which was a real treat. So what is everyone's life list up to?

I don't know what "life bird" means, either. It must be a bird watcher's term, and not a bird photography term.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

It means a bird you've seen for the first time, i.e. added to your Life List (your lifetime list of observed birds)

Got the piccies in question to share?

Anke, I do have two pics of the recent ones. They aren't that great, but I tried to make the best of the situation (30+mph wind). The one I found from last year is a horrible shot and I'm not willing to post it.

I'm up to 313 in North America, a White-winged Crossbill is the latest. I haven't totaled other lists yet. We've been to Panama, England and Wales and Ecuador.
Ecuador is an unbelievable country to visit! In 7 days we had 360 new birds. Wow.

Gear: Canon 20D, 50D, 300mm 2.8, 100mm macro, and more that my wife doesn't know about...
