In the spirit or recession, Canon is branching out into the appliances sector:

Diversification has been in the farming industry in the UK for years and years, no reason why everyone shouldn't follow suit ;)

Why are the Chinese so into knocking off stuff? Or in this case, they straight up high-jacked the Canon brand (the article assumes that the vacuum cleaner is Chinese made).

If Canon really made a vacuum cleaner, I would want to try it :)
