Western Meadowlark-- my state bird. Had my first photo op of the species the other day and wanted to share these. Thanks for taking a peek.

Great looking shots, it is a rare find to see a Meadowlark in this area.

Thank you Kenn! No, I didn't hear them sing. The pair was too busy poking around on the ground for grub and rarely lifted their heads. I would have loved to hear them though!
