I had a wonderful weekend...

YAY Jenn, sorry about the sick bud, though.

But he was so happy to see us that I am glad we went.

And that is what is important and a memory that will give you much more than you can imagine.

Glad you had such a great visit Jen, hope it makes up for the tough time you've been having at work.

Thanks Crissa! I totally forgot about and didn't think about my job for more than a minute this weekend. It was a wonderful end to a rough work week.... :)

Evening John & Robert.

Jenn I must have missed that Mcdreamy lives far from you. How far way is he?

He lives in a town about 2 hrs and 45 min from me. However.... that may change.... :D

Thanks Becky! It was a very nice weekend, and my parents were totally awesome for taking care of my sick buddy. He didn't feel 100% Friday evening.... It went down hill from there. The high fever, throwing up... whole nine yards. :( My parents took good care of him... and I didn't worry, I knew he was in good hands, and they let took care of him while I had my weekend of fun. I'm home now... and I've taken over the nursing duties... :( My poor little guy... he's doing nothing but sleeping....

I know I'm right about that... Ummm... it was a great weekend.... ;) *giggle*

Paula, sorry about your mom. :( That's got to be so difficult. Does she have Alzheimer's?

Permagrin wrote in post #7382805 (external link)
I'm sorry I missed it...what's happening with Paula's mom?

She doesn't have Alzheimers. She has suffered from severe severe depression for at least 15 yrs (or more). We have taken her to many doctors...tried many medications etc...over the years and nothing seems to help her. Finally moved her in with my Aunt, who is a nurse and runs a home for mostly eldery folks. She seemed to start getting better recently, so moved her back home. That lasted about two days and she really took a down turn. Seems she can't handle being alone (read "total panic"). So, moved her back with my aunt. Now we are considering moving her to an assisted living. Her depression has somehow triggered alot of other phobias etc... and we are just at our wits end in how to help her anymore.:( There is ALOT more to this story, but this is a very brief explanation.

I actually took a couple pictures today. First time in almost two months... I stopped a couple miles from home as I headed back from the grocery store:

I was hoping the snow covered San Gabriel Mountains would stand out more in the pictures, though. Maybe I'll try again in the morning.

My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.

Yep. Shouldn't be long now. We've been getting quite a bit of rain for the past couple weeks. When everything starts to bloom it should really look great!

Also, I just realized it wasn't two months since I had my 40D out. I forgot I went to Death Valley last month...

It's going to be a beautiful spring in the desert this year.

Nice Lonnie....like the second one best. The shots just seem a little flat.
