Ah...never tried it myself.

Don't you hate when that happens? See a scene and try to take a shot and it don't come out the same.

Sorry for no MMQ...I'll confess....I scanned for pics.

Zane: I hope your sister is well after her surgery. Lovely silhouette shot.

Becky: I hope your ankle feels better.

Permie: Lovely bird and tractor shots.

Crissa: Lovely wedding shots.

Terri: Love those neat perspective shots.

Paula: Best wishes for your mom.

Jenn: Glad you had some fun this weekend. Sorry your little dude has the ills. I hope it doesn't get anywhere near as bad as what Aidan had.

G'ame folks. Kids are in bed. It's been a long day here. Both boys had the crabbies all day. Aidan because he's still not up to snuff and Ian popped another tooth. I'm finally feeling well enough NOT to go to bed with the kids.

Thanks Tiff! I'm hoping he doesn't get any sicker too.... :( He's hardly eaten all day... :(

Oogly that was good. I made (Terri close your eyes) fresh pasta sauce, shrimp, and spaghetti that turned out fantastic. I way over ate, as usual.

She doesn't have Alzheimers. She has suffered from severe severe depression for at least 15 yrs (or more). We have taken her to many doctors...tried many medications etc...over the years and nothing seems to help her. Finally moved her in with my Aunt, who is a nurse and runs a home for mostly eldery folks. She seemed to start getting better recently, so moved her back home. That lasted about two days and she really took a down turn. Seems she can't handle being alone (read "total panic"). So, moved her back with my aunt. Now we are considering moving her to an assisted living. Her depression has somehow triggered alot of other phobias etc... and we are just at our wits end in how to help her anymore.:( There is ALOT more to this story, but this is a very brief explanation.

That's really hard Paula

I actually took a couple pictures today. First time in almost two months... I stopped a couple miles from home as I headed back from the grocery store:

Built in? Yeah, no, fortunately external ones are cheap.

I don't ever use mine. Has been nothing but grief for me.
Remember when the first one I had didn't work, and when the guy they sent to fix it replaced it, he fired my computer? Remember that? Oh boy.
Then with my second computer (the replacement they sent me under warranty) started having card reader issues, I just stopped using it.

I've got a fantastic USB card reader that I use all the time now.

When you remove your card, do you choose 'eject' or 'safely remove' ? That was my first problem. "safely remove" removes the whole blasted reader. And when it's internal, that's an issue.

What's the background for the set in those last two supposed to be? Looks like it's supposed to be writing of some kind, but it's pretty blurry. Nice pics, though!

Yep. It's just miles and miles of that kind of terrain around here, interrupted every once in a while by a few square blocks of civilization. I took those pictures right on the border of Lancaster. That's the next town north of me, about three or four miles away. There isn't much in those few miles between Lancaster and Palmdale except Joshua Trees, yuccas, sagebrush, dirt and sand, and coyotes.

My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.
